Here we will pass through the surviving gates of the medieval fortress, see old mansions still adorned with their coat of arms, and walk through courtyards with gorgeous flowers.

In the evening, we will watch the sunset at Portara, also known as “Apollo’s Gate.” This huge marble gate is the only remaining part of Apollo’s unfinished temple dating back to 530 BC. As we watch the sunset over the Aegean Sea, you will understand why this spot is known for being “one of the most enchanting sunsets in Greece.”
